A very warm welcome from the Worshipful Master of the Newarke Lodge No. 6794, W.Bro. Paul Brown who was placed in the Chair of King Solomon in May 2023.

We are a unique members’ organisation which has thrived for over 300 years.

Having no political or religious affiliations, we comprise members of all ages, races, religions, cultures and backgrounds.

We gather in our individual Lodges throughout the country, where we have ceremonial traditions which encourage us both to be more tolerant and respectful to actively fulfil our civic and charitable responsibilities.

We also make time to eat, drink and meet together, and form lifelong friendships.

Freemasonry is one of the world’s oldest social and charitable organisations. Its roots lie in the traditions of the medieval stonemasons who built our cathedrals and castles.

For Freemasons, there are four important values that help define our path through life: Integrity, Friendship, Charity and Respect.

In today’s world filled with uncertainty, these principles ring as true as they have at any point in the organisation’s history.

We hope that you enjoy our website, we a very friendly Lodge whose aim is to raise money for both masonic and non-masonic charities whilst enjoying congenial fellowship in great surroundings. If you have any questions, feedback, or interested in possibly joining Freemasonry please contact our Secretary by the email form in our “Contact” page, to find out more.
